SOLEMN NEWS: Gideon Kramer, one of our younger and aspiring nostalgia drag racing enthusiasts and strong supporter had a bad accident on Monday following the York Nostalgia Weekend, He had his AMC displayed at York US30 Heritage Days and ran at Beaver Springs on Sunday at the York Nostalgia Nationals.

On Monday, he had the misfortune of having a 40K pound press come down on his right hand and crush it. He spent the rest of the day and into the wee hours of the next morning in hospitals and was rushed to Hershey to a hand specialist. They thought he may lose his hand at first but with the grace of God the doctor at Hershey Medical Center administered the proper procedures to save his hand at this time.

We in the drag racing fraternity have been always known to come forward in time of tragedy and need to help our fellow enthusiasts and racers. We have started a fund for GIDEON to help him in this grave time of need. The GIDEON KRAMER FUND.

Please send your contribution to York Nostalgia with Gideon Kramer Fund marked in the memo section of your check. All funds received will be presented to Gideon and a list of all contributors will be placed on display in the drag racing section at the Eastern Museum of Motor Racing. It's our time to STAND UP for one of ours! Please forward to York Nostalgia, P.O. Box 3675, York, PA 17402-0136. THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

UPDATE:

As of 8/10/17 we have forwarded $740.00 to Gideon Kramer for use with his medical expenses involving his hand injury.  Donations will be accepted during the month of August and all support is deeply appreciated.

It is going to be a long recovery with his hand and all donations are sincerely appreciated!
